If you find your life tangled up with somebody else's life for no very logical reasons that person may be a member of your karass.

The Karasss met in Brussels to celebrate the database and created some final pieces to play the Suite and the Karasss alltogether. The documentation of the project is not finished yet, but we will seek to publish it in the Karassstory and on this page.

You will also soon find a short manual, how to use this page.
But, what am i talking about?

For more than a year we have been working on the project 'Karass-suite'. It is loosely based on the structure and content mentioned in 'Cat's Cradle', by Kurt Vonnegut. Most of the time we find databases just on the archiving or presentation side. But as histories of technologies show, the idea of a hypertext/media database is able to offer you much more.
The idea was to test how content by artists could be simultaneously developed alongside the coming about of a container called online database, but enhanced and enriched, with tools we altogether agree on. The purpose was always to have a common point for sharing (sometimes high quality) data, arranging and rearranging, extending them. Secondly there could be tools provided for uploading and downloading the media, including some streaming features. We simply wanted to make an online database a little different than we see everyday. And turn it into an experimental tool, open for interested creative people, meeting there.

As you can see, the Karass-suite remains a building site. Ready to accept also your contribution, if you are interested (but read the book first). Ready also to extend the content and modules that can change the way we look at it and use it.
